Looking for PALs

As you may have heard, we have a great group of New Members for Tau Lambda! We began a program last year that we are hoping to continue each semester. It is called "PAL" and stands for "Pi girl - Alum - Link". Our hope is to match alums with a New Member to (a) offer additional support for the new member and some 'wisdom of their elders' and (b) bring our alums back "in the loop" with a hope that they will remain involved and not only would you have a friendly face who is a current member - but also more of a reason to come back to SHIP for reunions, Initiation, etc. We ask that you reach out to your PAL to introduce yourself and the rest is up to you. We try to match PALS with similar hometowns or majors (another great way to network!!!) You can email your PAL, send a note, or the next time you bake a batch of cookies, send a care package to her!! It reinforces "AOII is for a Lifetime" when they see alums who are still involved and still care. We hope that it will also encourage our new sisters to join alumnae chapters upon graduation or stay involved at some capacity.

So now we are asking for your help... if you are interested in joining the PAL program, we would love to match you up with one of the New Members of Tau Lambda. Please email us at taulambdaalum@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you so we can continue this unique initiative.
