My name is Lisa Sourbeer Bower. I graduated in 1994 and was in CC Curchins pledge class. I’ve not received any updates from AOII, but my good friend Winni Painter just sent me the blog to inform me of Jennifer Lisman’s passing. I am so deeply saddened.

My updated information is below. I am married to Doug Bower, a former Pi Kappa Phi. We have 2 little girls, Madison and Ella Bower. Madison will be 6 on Tuesday and Ella will be 4 on April 30th. I started an Interior Decorating business in Ellicott City, MD about 4 years ago and I am enjoying work and my girls. And of course, Doug is a wonderful husband and Daddy.

Winni and her husband Bill are getting ready to go to Punta Cana with Doug and I in May when Doug and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I wish everyone well at SHIP

Hello, my name is Lisa Genner Vesper. After leaving Ship I received my masters degree in Human Services/Mental Health. I worked for about 6 years as the Director of a partial hospital for mentally ill patients. However, after hanging around with so many sisters who were elementary education majors, the education bug was bound to rub off. I went back to school to get my High School Guidance Certificate and now I work at Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, PA. I love my job and it allows me to spend my summers with my three children. My daughter Chloe is 8, and her brothers Starrett and Kerrick are 5 and soon to be 3.

When Kim Manning told me of Jen's passing I was very sad. Jen is the first person I met at Ship. She went to high school with Shannon Kennedy Powell and came to help us move in during freshman orientation. Over the semester I got to know her and she always talked about AOII. In fact, it was mainly because of Jen that I chose AOII. If anyone knows how to get in touch with Shannon (somwhere in MD I think) please let me know. I know she would want to know about Jen.

I am so sorry I will not be able to see everyone at the Alumnae weekend. I miss you all and think of you often. My daughter has a state gymnastics competition that weekend and of course would be devastated if I was not there. My thoughts will be with you. I would love to get together with anyone in the Philly area.

Everytime I send one of my senior girls off to Ship I tell her to check out the AOII's!

Lisa
