Great Teachers Make Great Public Schools
Today, the first Tuesday of the first full week of May, is known as Teacher Day. The annual theme has been replaced with a standing tagline "Great Teachers Make Great Public Schools" and draws attention to the crucial role teachers play in making sure every child receives a quality public education and conveys the hard work they do each day to make public schools great for every child. Visit www.nea.org.
And go ahead, hug a teacher...

I never really understood what being a teacher is all about until this past year, I became one. Those of you that serve the greater good by serving your communities as a positive model and educator of youth know. The rest of us should reach out and say "thank you". You just can't appreciate teachers enough!!!
To our "older" sisters of Tau Lambda, Welcome to our blog. . . A fun way for us to all stay in touch! Our hope is that we can post events and happenings, stay up-to-date, and just have a place to chit-chat! (it's not all business)
We'd love to hear from you. To add pictures, articles, or stories please e-mail us at: taulambdaalum@gmail.com. What better way to network?!
PASS IT ON. . .
Join us on FACEBOOK
Wonder what your pledge sisters are up to? Trying to track down your old roommate? Sign up for Facebook "Shippensburg University AOII Alumnae"... it is a "closed" group so we don't get people in without permission. Join today and get caught up!
